सोनीपत में 1,639 नए पात्रों को मिलेगा पेंशन सम्मान भत्ता

जिले के 1,639 नए पात्र व्यक्तियों को जल्द ही पेंशन सम्मान भत्ता योजना से जोड़ा जाएगा और उन्हें इसका लाभ दिया जाएगा। जिला समाज कल्याण विभाग को मुख्यालय की ओर से इन लाभार्थियों की सूची भेजी गई है ताकि उन्हें योजना से जोड़ा जा सके।

नए लाभार्थियों में वृद्ध, विधवा, दिव्यांग, विधुर और अविवाहित व्यक्ति शामिल हैं। वर्तमान में जिले में लगभग 2 लाख 9 हजार लोग विभिन्न वर्गों के तहत पेंशन सम्मान भत्ता प्राप्त कर रहे हैं, जिनमें से 1,21,419 लोगों को वृद्धावस्था पेंशन दी जा रही है।

मुख्यालय ने अक्तूबर माह के 1,241 और नवंबर माह के 398 पात्र लोगों की सूची जिला कार्यालय को भेजी है। विभाग को पात्र व्यक्तियों से आवश्यक दस्तावेज और फोटो एकत्रित करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। नए लाभार्थियों को जोड़ने के बाद जिले में कुल पेंशनधारकों की संख्या 2,10,639 हो जाएगी।

विभाग की ओर से कुछ पात्र व्यक्तियों से कार्यालय में दस्तावेज एकत्र करने का काम शुरू हो गया है, जबकि खंड स्तर पर तीन कर्मचारी घर-घर जाकर पात्र लोगों के दस्तावेज और फोटो एकत्र कर रहे हैं। इन दस्तावेजों और फोटोज को स्कैन कर मुख्यालय भेजा जाएगा ताकि पात्र लोगों को जल्द योजना का लाभ मिल सके।

वर्गवार नए पात्र लाभार्थियों की संख्या:

वृद्धावस्था पेंशन: 1,338
विधवा पेंशन: 157
दिव्यांग पेंशन: 51
विधुर व अविवाहित पेंशन: 93

जिला समाज कल्याण विभाग सोनीपत के लेखा अधिकारी जोगिंद्र राठी ने बताया कि मुख्यालय से नई पेंशन के लिए 1,639 पात्र लोगों की सूची प्राप्त हुई है और दस्तावेज एकत्र करने की प्रक्रिया जिला व खंड स्तर पर शुरू कर दी गई है।

A total of 1,639 new eligible residents of the district will soon be added to the Pension Samman Allowance Scheme and start receiving its benefits. The District Social Welfare Department has received the list of these beneficiaries from the headquarters to initiate the process of including them in the scheme.

The newly approved beneficiaries include elderly citizens, widows, persons with disabilities, widowers, and unmarried individuals. Currently, around 2,09,000 people in the district are already availing benefits under various categories of the pension scheme, out of which 1,21,419 receive old-age pension.

The headquarters has now sent details of 1,241 beneficiaries for October and 398 for November to the district office. The department has been instructed to collect documents and photographs from the eligible individuals. Once these new names are added, the total number of pension recipients in Sonipat will reach 2,10,639.

The department has begun collecting documents from some beneficiaries at the office, while three employees at the block level are visiting homes to gather documents and photographs. These will be scanned and sent to the headquarters to ensure that beneficiaries start receiving their pensions promptly.

Old-age pension: 1,338
Widow pension: 157
Disability pension: 51
Widower & unmarried pension: 93

According to Joginder Rathi, Accounts Officer, Social Welfare Department, Sonipat, the headquarters has provided a list of 1,639 new eligible individuals for pension benefits. The process of collecting required documents and photographs from them has already started at both district and block levels.
