Cheating Rampant in Haryana Board Exams, Students Caught Throwing Notes from Walls

The administrative claims to curb cheating in the Haryana Board Class 10 exams seem to be failing. During the Mathematics exam on Friday, several outsiders were seen actively helping students at various exam centers, especially in rural areas, where youths climbed walls to throw chits through windows.

Despite strict measures by the administration, the cheating mafia remained fearless. Policemen deployed outside exam centers tried to chase them away, but they kept returning from different spots to assist students in cheating.

Teachers Involved, Video Goes Viral

A shocking viral video from a village school in Sonipat showed teachers preparing chits in a separate room and later distributing them to students during the exam.

Police and Administration’s Efforts Prove Ineffective

The Education Department and Police Administration had enforced Section 144 around exam centers to prevent malpractice, but large crowds still gathered outside multiple centers. Some students and their supporters were seen writing answers on paper and throwing them inside through windows, despite police intervention.

Math Exam Conducted at 76 Centers

The Mathematics exam was conducted at 76 centers across the district, with 15,589 students appearing, including regular and open school candidates. Authorities tried to control the crowd outside exam centers, but the situation remained unmanageable in several rural areas.

Administration to Seek Help from Village Panchayats

District Education Officer Naveen Gulia stated that village panchayats will be involved along with the police to raise awareness among locals and prevent cheating in future exams.

Board Officials Deny Malpractice Allegations

Board Superintendent Krishna Rohilla claimed that the exams were conducted smoothly, and no cases of cheating were reported by flying squads. He assured that the administration is monitoring all activities to ensure fair examinations.
