मुख्य सचिव डॉ. विवेक जोशी ने ₹17,516 करोड़ की परियोजनाओं की समीक्षा की; लापरवाह ठेकेदारों पर सख्त कार्रवाई के निर्देश

चण्डीगढ़- मुख्य सचिव डॉ. विवेक जोशी ने 100 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक लागत की 25 परियोजनाओं की समीक्षा की। कुल 17,516 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक लागत की ये परियोजनाएं उद्योग एवं वाणिज्य, चिकित्सा शिक्षा एवं अनुसंधान, सिंचाई एवं जल संसाधन तथा जन स्वास्थ्य अभियांत्रिकी विभागों से संबंधित हैं।

बैठक के दौरान मुख्य सचिव ने अधिकारियों को सिंचाई एवं जल संसाधन, उद्योग एवं वाणिज्य, लोक निर्माण (भवन एवं सड़कें) तथा जन स्वास्थ्य अभियांत्रिकी विभागों के अधिकारियों का एक पैनल गठित करने के निर्देश दिए। यह पैनल परियोजना समय-सीमा की समीक्षा करेगा।

डॉ. विवेक जोशी ने अधिकारियों को सख्त निर्देश देते हुए कहा कि लापरवाह ठेकेदारों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करें और ऐसे ठेकेदारों को ब्लैक लिस्ट भी किया जाए। उन्होंने निर्देश दिए कि परियोजनाओं के लिए निविदाएं जारी करने से पहले पर्यावरण एवं वन मंजूरी सहित सभी आवश्यक मंजूरी प्राप्त की जाएं।

Chief Secretary Dr. Vivek Joshi reviewed 25 projects with a cost exceeding ?100 crore. These projects, totaling more than ?17,516 crore, are related to the Departments of Industries and Commerce, Medical Education and Research, Irrigation and Water Resources, and Public Health Engineering.

During the meeting, the Chief Secretary directed the formation of a panel comprising officials from the Departments of Irrigation and Water Resources, Industries and Commerce, Public Works (Buildings and Roads), and Public Health Engineering. This panel will be responsible for reviewing project timelines.

Dr. Vivek Joshi issued strict instructions to take action against negligent contractors and blacklist them if necessary. He also emphasized that all necessary approvals, including environmental and forest clearances, should be obtained before issuing tenders for projects.
