Truck Seized, Crackdown Intensifies

The Deputy Commissioner has stated that round-the-clock inspections are being carried out by the Mining Department to completely put an end to illegal mining. As part of this initiative, a truck was seized on Monday.

Mining Department official Anil Kumar reported that, on Monday, a joint team from the Department of Mines and Geology, Sonipat, and the Haryana State Enforcement Bureau, Mimarpur, found truck HR69C8351 involved in illegal mineral transportation. The vehicle was seized and locked at Kundli Police Station, and necessary departmental action will be taken.

He further emphasized that continuous inspections are being conducted day and night, and strict action will be taken against individuals and vehicles involved in illegal mining. The department's crackdown will continue without any leniency.
