Government’s Claims Hollow, No Development on the Ground: Gupta

Former district president (trade cell) of Jannayak Janta Party, Ramesh Gupta, criticized the government and administration, stating that while they make tall claims about development, there is no concrete progress at the ground level. He was speaking to journalists at the PWD rest house.

Gupta pointed out that although the government is organizing grievance redressal camps, no real solutions emerge from them. Due to the stagnation of municipal corporation projects, the city is struggling with various issues. Additionally, voter turnout is declining continuously as people are unwilling to step out to vote. He emphasized that the promotion of the NOTA option should be increased so that voters who do not support any candidate can at least register their dissent through NOTA.
