Inauguration of the Seven-Day Satakumbha Festival

The seven-day Satakumbha Festival was inaugurated on Thursday at the Satakumbha Tirth located in Kheri Gujjar, Gannaor, with a Kalash Yatra. Under the blessings of Peethadhishwar Mahant Rajesh Swaroop Maharaj, female devotees commenced the Kalash Yatra, which proceeded through the village’s main lanes to the pilgrimage site. Led by Acharya Anil Sharma, 11 Vedic reciters initiated the ritual by chanting Vedic mantras. In his sermon, Mahant Rajesh Swaroop Maharaj emphasized the importance of Satakumbha Tirth, stating that it is one of the 68 major pilgrimage sites in the country, and its glory has remained immense throughout the four ages.
