अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त लक्षित सरीन ने मंगलवार को अपने कार्यालय में सोनीपत हॉफ मैराथन को सफल बनाने में सहयोग करने वाली औद्योगिक एसोसिएशनों व इकाइयों व अधिकारियों को सम्मानित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि उनके सहयोग के कारण ही जिला प्रशासन मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह सैनी के नेतृत्व में नशे के विरूद्घ शुरू की गई मुहिम नशा मुक्त हरियाणा अभियान के तहत 30 मार्च को जिला में सोनीपत हॉफ मैराथन के माध्यम से नशे के विरूद्घ इस संदेश को जन-जन, घर-घर तक पहुंचा पाएं।
अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त ने कहा कि मैं विशेष रूप से उन संगठनों का धन्यवाद करता हूँ जिन्होंने संसाधन, समय और जनशक्ति प्रदान कर इस आयोजन को सफल बनाने में प्रशासन का सहयोग किया। आप सभी का यह योगदान केवल आयोजन तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि यह समाज में सकारात्मक परिवर्तन लाने की दिशा में एक प्रेरणादायक कदम है। उन्होंने कहा कि जिले की औद्योगिक इकाइयों का सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व के क्षेत्र में यह योगदान आने वाली पीढिय़ों को प्रेरित करेगा ताकि हम समाज का सकारात्मक रास्ते पर आगे बढ़ा सके।
उन्होंने कहा कि समाजिक उत्थान और स्वास्थ्य संबंधी ऐसे आयोजनों में औद्योगिक इकाइयों की सहभागिता अत्यंत सराहनीय है। उन्होंने कहा कि औद्योगिक क्षेत्र आम तौर पर आर्थिक प्रगति से जोड़ा जाता है, लेकिन जब यही क्षेत्र सामाजिक जिम्मेदारियों में भी अपनी भूमिका निभाता है, तो वह सच्चे अर्थों में विकास का भागीदार बन जाता है। आज आप सभी ने यह सिद्ध कर दिया कि उद्योग और समाज एक-दूसरे के पूरक हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि मैं आशा करता हूँ कि भविष्य में भी ऐसे आयोजनों में आपका सक्रिय सहयोग यूं ही बना रहेगा। जिला प्रशासन की ओर से मैं आपको विश्वास दिलाता हूँ कि हम भी हर सकारात्मक पहल में आपके साथ खड़े रहेंगे।
इस दौरान अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त ने एसडीएम खरखौदा डॉ0 निर्मल नागर, खरखौदा आईएमटी स्थित नीलगिरि ग्रुप के मालिक मुकेश गोयल, नाथूपुर एसोसिएशन के पदाधिकारियों, बड़ी एसोसिएशन के पदाधिकारियों, मुरथल औद्योगिक एसोसिएशन के पदाधिकारियों, बड़ी स्थित जीपीए कैप्टिल फूड प्राईवेट लिमि० से अनूप गोयल, सौरभ परूथी, हरिश तथा विजय कानोदिया, जे एंड जे इंफोटेक प्राईवेट लिमि० से राहुल कपूर सहित एचएसआईआईडीसी के अधिकारियों को सम्मनित किया। इस मौके पर एडीसी के पीए नितिन शर्मा सहित अन्य स्टाफ मौजूद रहा।

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Lakit Sareen honored the industrial associations, units, and officials on Tuesday at his office for their support in making the Sonipat Half Marathon a success. He stated that it was due to their cooperation that the district administration was able to effectively spread the message against drug abuse to every household through the marathon, held on March 30 under the Nasha Mukt Haryana Abhiyan (Drug-Free Haryana Campaign) initiated by Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.

ADC Sareen specifically thanked the organizations that provided resources, time, and manpower to help the administration make the event successful. He emphasized that their contribution goes beyond just supporting an event—it is a meaningful step toward bringing positive change in society. He added that such efforts from the district’s industrial units in the area of social responsibility will inspire future generations to move society in a positive direction.

He further highlighted that the participation of industrial units in social upliftment and health-related events is highly commendable. “The industrial sector is usually associated with economic growth, but when it actively participates in social responsibilities, it becomes a true partner in development,” he said. “Today, all of you have proven that industry and society are complementary to each other.” He expressed hope that such active cooperation would continue in the future and assured that the district administration would always stand with them in every positive initiative.
