Krishna Polymer Factory Fire: Nine Fire Engines Bring Blaze Under Control in 4.5 Hours

On Friday night, a sudden and intense fire broke out at the Krishna Polymer Factory located in Pipli village. The flames were so fierce that they could be seen from afar. Upon receiving the alert, fire department vehicles quickly reached the scene, and after four and a half hours of strenuous effort, the blaze was brought under control by a total of nine fire engines from various centers across the district, resulting in heavy damage to the factory.

The factory, situated near the Government College in Pipli, produces polymer resin. Around 1:30 AM, the fire erupted for unknown reasons. As the flames spread, the factory’s security guard immediately informed the owner and called the fire department. Fire engines from Sonipat, the major industrial area, Kharkhauda, Rai, and Kundli centers promptly arrived and began extinguishing the blaze. The fire was so severe that it took four and a half hours to control, during which the factory sustained considerable damage as the polymer resin in production quickly caught fire.

Earlier, approximately two hours before, a fire had broken out at the factory, and the on-site staff had managed to extinguish it promptly. At that time, a fire engine had been notified but was sent back once it was confirmed that the situation was under control. However, around 1:30 AM, the fire reignited, and due to its chemical properties, the flames spread rapidly. This time, nine fire engines from across the district arrived and managed to completely control the fire in four and a half hours, suggesting that the initial fire had not been fully contained.
