On Friday, MLA Nikhil Madan visited the Municipal Corporation office, where he met with senior citizens and pension holders of Sonipat. During his visit, he provided necessary directives to municipal officials to improve the pension verification process.

MLA Nikhil Madan assured the senior citizens that pension verification camps would be extended for another 15 days. Furthermore, ward-wise pension verification camps will be organized to make the process more accessible.

He announced that municipal staff would visit the homes of disabled and bedridden senior citizens to conduct pension verification. Emphasizing his commitment, Madan assured that no senior citizen’s pension would be discontinued without proper verification.

To facilitate the process, the number of employees from the Municipal Corporation and the Social Welfare Department involved in verification will be increased. He urged all pension holders not to fall prey to any rumors and to complete their verification process calmly.
