Reflector Tapes Installed and Overgrown Trees Trimmed for Road Safety

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Manoj Kumar, during the Road Safety Committee meeting held on January 16, issued strict instructions to road construction departments to trim the overgrown Kabuli kikar trees and other vegetation along the district’s roads to ensure the smooth movement of commuters.
Following these directions, a campaign was launched today by the concerned departments to clear the overgrown trees and plants along the roads.
As part of this campaign, department employees trimmed the overgrown Kabuli kikar trees and plants. Additionally, for the safety of citizens traveling during foggy and nighttime conditions, reflector tapes were affixed to electric poles and road dividers.
These tapes will help commuters identify the poles and dividers easily under low visibility conditions caused by fog or at night.
