Safe India Distributed Jerseys and Shoes to 253 Students

On Wednesday, January 29, 2025, Sonipat’s leading social welfare organization, Safe India Foundation, distributed jerseys to students (both boys and girls) from Class 1 to Class 5 at Government Senior Secondary School, Garhi Ghasita, with the support of the community.

The foundation’s Chairman, Y.K. Tyagi, and President, Sanjay Singla, stated that under this initiative, jerseys and shoes will be distributed to students from Class 1 to Class 5 in government schools across Sonipat. They emphasized that most students in government schools come from underprivileged families.

They further mentioned that, so far, over 915 students from Sector 15 Primary School, Model Town Primary School, Rajendra Nagar Primary School, and a School for Hearing-Impaired Children have already received shoes, socks, and jerseys. Today, 253 students from Government Senior Secondary School, Garhi Ghasita, were provided with jerseys and shoes by the organization.

The event was attended by Sonipat’s Deputy Mayor, Manjeet Gehlawat, along with social workers Balraj Vashisth, Sundar Lal, Shashikant Bhardwaj, Seema Bhardwaj, and Anipal Lakra, among others.
