Two Aides of Canada-Based Terrorists Lakhbir alias Landa & Satnam Singh Satta Captured After Encounter; 2 Grenades and Gun Seized

Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav shared on Twitter that acting on a tip-off, police successfully captured two operatives of the Nowshera gang – Robinjeet Singh and Harpreet Singh Happy – after a gunfight. These individuals were linked to USA-based Gurdev Singh alias Jaisal Chambal and Canada-based terrorists Lakhbir alias Landa and Satnam Singh Satta.

During the operation, police seized 2 grenades, a pistol, and live cartridges from the accused.

When the police team attempted to apprehend them, the suspects attacked the officers and tried to escape. In response, the police retaliated in self-defense, resulting in both suspects sustaining injuries. They were immediately taken to the civil hospital, where their condition is reported to be stable.

An FIR has been registered by Tarn Taran police, and further investigation is underway.
