गन्नौर बस अड्डे के पुनर्निर्माण की तैयारी तेज, 10 बस स्टॉप और आधुनिक सुविधाओं से होगा लैस

जीटी रोड पर पिछले लगभग पांच वर्षों से बंद पड़ा गन्नौर बस अड्डा अब नए स्वरूप में जल्द ही जनता को समर्पित किया जाएगा। लोक निर्माण विभाग द्वारा कंडम घोषित किए गए पुराने बस अड्डा भवन को गिराकर उसी स्थान पर आधुनिक सुविधाओं से युक्त नया भवन बनाया जाएगा। इसके लिए करीब 2.3 करोड़ रुपये का बजट प्रस्तावित किया गया है।

भाजपा के पूर्व विधायक निर्मल चौधरी के कार्यकाल के दौरान बस अड्डे के नए भवन को स्वीकृति दी गई थी और निर्माण राशि भी विभाग को जारी हो चुकी है। फिलहाल विभाग को मुख्यालय भेजे गए नक्शे की मंजूरी का इंतजार है, जिसके बाद निर्माण कार्य शुरू कर दिया जाएगा। कभी दर्जनों बसों की आवाजाही से गुलजार रहने वाला यह बस अड्डा समय के साथ जर्जर हालत में पहुंच गया था।

करीब 36 वर्ष पूर्व तत्कालीन परिवहन मंत्री वेद सिंह मलिक ने डेढ़ एकड़ भूमि पर गन्नौर जीटी रोड पर बस अड्डे का निर्माण करवाया था, जिसे अब लोक निर्माण विभाग ने असुरक्षित घोषित कर दिया है। इसके चलते रोजाना करीब 350 यात्रियों को जीटी रोड से ही बसों में चढ़ना पड़ रहा है।

10 बस स्टॉप और चार्जिंग प्वाइंट होंगे विकसित

गन्नौर से विधायक देवेंद्र कादियान ने विधानसभा सत्र के दौरान इस मुद्दे को प्रमुखता से उठाया था, जिसके बाद बस अड्डे के नवीनीकरण की योजना को गति मिली। नई योजना के तहत यहां मौजूदा दो के बजाय 10 बस स्टॉप बनाए जाएंगे। इसके अलावा शॉपिंग कॉम्प्लेक्स, दुकानें, प्रशासनिक भवन और आधुनिक शौचालयों का निर्माण भी प्रस्तावित है। भविष्य को ध्यान में रखते हुए इलेक्ट्रिक बसों के ठहराव और उनके लिए चार्जिंग प्वाइंट की भी व्यवस्था की जाएगी।

दुकानों से बनेगा आय का स्रोत

बस अड्डे के पुनर्निर्माण के साथ दो मुख्य प्रवेश द्वार बनाए जाएंगे, जिससे यातायात व्यवस्था अधिक सुचारु हो सकेगी। यात्रियों के लिए वातानुकूलित प्रतीक्षालय, स्वच्छ पेयजल, आधुनिक शौचालय, रेस्तरां, महिलाओं के लिए अलग प्रतीक्षालय और चालक-परिचालकों के लिए विश्राम कक्ष की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी। पहली मंजिल पर रोडवेज प्रशासन के कार्यालय होंगे, जबकि जीटी रोड की सर्विस लेन के साथ दुकानों का निर्माण कर उन्हें किराये पर देकर विभाग आय अर्जित करेगा।

विधायक देवेंद्र कादियान ने बताया कि गन्नौर में निर्माणाधीन अंतरराष्ट्रीय बागवानी मंडी के 2026 तक शुरू होने की संभावना है। ऐसे में नए बस अड्डे का निर्माण मंडी के लिए भी अहम साबित होगा। यहां से लंबी दूरी की अंतरराज्यीय बसों का संचालन किया जाएगा, जिससे यात्रियों को बेहतर सुविधा मिलेगी।

लोक निर्माण विभाग के अनुसार, जीटी रोड पर करीब 2.04 एकड़ भूमि पर नए डिजाइन के तहत बस अड्डे का पुनर्निर्माण किया जाएगा। नक्शा मुख्यालय को भेजा जा चुका है और मंजूरी मिलते ही निर्माण कार्य शुरू कर दिया जाएगा।

The long-closed Ganaur bus stand on GT Road is set to be reopened soon in a completely new and modern form. The old structure, declared unsafe by the Public Works Department (PWD), will be demolished and replaced with a new building at the same location. A budget of approximately ?2.3 crore has been prepared for the project.

The proposal for the new bus stand building was approved during the tenure of former BJP MLA Nirmal Chaudhary, and the construction funds have already been released. The department is currently awaiting approval of the design plans from the headquarters, after which construction work will commence. Once a busy hub with frequent bus movement, the bus stand had deteriorated significantly over the years.

Built around 36 years ago by then Transport Minister Ved Singh Malik on 1.5 acres along GT Road, the bus stand was later declared unfit for use. As a result, nearly 350 passengers are forced to board buses directly from the highway every day.

10 Bus Stops and EV Charging Facilities Planned

The issue was raised in the Assembly by Ganaur MLA Devender Kadian, following which the renovation plan gained momentum. Under the new project, the number of bus stops will be increased from 2 to 10. The bus stand will also include a shopping complex, retail shops, administrative offices, and modern toilets. Provisions have been made for electric buses, including dedicated parking and charging points.

Shops to Generate Revenue

As part of the redevelopment, two main entry gates will be constructed to ensure better traffic management. Facilities such as air-conditioned waiting halls, drinking water, modern restrooms, a restaurant, a separate waiting area for women, and rest rooms for drivers and conductors will be provided. Offices for the Roadways administration will be located on the first floor, while shops along the GT Road service lane will be rented out to generate revenue for the department.

MLA Devender Kadian stated that the upcoming international horticulture market in Ganaur, expected to become operational by 2026, will further enhance the importance of the bus stand. Long-distance interstate buses will also operate from here, making it more convenient for passengers.

According to the Public Works Department, the new bus stand will be constructed on approximately 2.04 acres of land along GT Road. The revised design has been submitted to the headquarters, and construction will begin once approval is granted.
