After 30 Years, Water to Fill the Pond in Bhogipur – MLA Inaugurates Tube Well Installation Work
Villagers Thank MLA Kadian for Drain-6 Cleaning, Demand Reconstruction of Dilapidated Culvert

A dried-up pond near Drain-6 in Bhogipur village (Rajlu Garhi) will finally see water after nearly 30 years. The Gram Panchayat has started work on installing a new tube well at a cost of ?3.25 lakh. Area MLA Devender Kadian inaugurated the project by performing a coconut-breaking ritual. He assured that the water shortage in the area would be resolved soon. The clean water in the pond will be a great relief for cattle owners, providing water for drinking and bathing livestock. The tube well will also fulfill the water needs of the local residents.

MLA Kadian mentioned that the pond had remained dry for nearly three decades, causing great inconvenience to livestock farmers. With the installation of the tube well, the village will experience major relief. Villagers expressed gratitude to the MLA for the cleaning of Drain-6. They also demanded the reconstruction of a dilapidated culvert on the path leading to the cremation ground from the Irrigation Department. MLA Kadian assured them that he would speak with the concerned officials and ensure the culvert is rebuilt soon. He emphasized that the development of the region is his priority and that public issues are being resolved on a priority basis.

Earlier, Bhogipur Sarpanch Sawan Kumar, along with villagers, welcomed the MLA with flower garlands. The Sarpanch shared that the pond near the drain, which serves three villages, had remained dry for 25–30 years. Responding to villagers’ demands, the Panchayat decided to install a new tube well by the pond. With clean water filling the pond, livestock will find relief in the scorching summer. He also stated that, after the matter was brought to the MLA's attention, the cleaning of Drain-6 was carried out swiftly. Earlier, the drain was filled with filth, posing safety risks.

Prominent attendees included Block Committee Chairman Anil Kumar, former Sarpanch Virendra, Jaipal, Ashok, Rajesh, Jile Singh, Rajendra, Rinku, Bheem Singh, Krishna, Pawan Kumar, Dinesh Dinkar, and several other villagers.
