यमुना के बढ़ते जलस्तर पर सतर्कता बढ़ी, अधिकारियों को चौकसी के निर्देश

मुख्यमंत्री नायब सिंह सैनी के मुख्य प्रधान सचिव राजेश खुल्लर ने शुक्रवार को यमुना क्षेत्र का दौरा कर बाढ़ नियंत्रण की तैयारियों और कार्यों का निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने दहिसरा घाट पर पहुंचकर वहां बनी बाढ़ नियंत्रण ठोकरों की गहराई से जांच की।

राजेश खुल्लर ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि वर्षा के कारण यमुना के जलस्तर में बढ़ोतरी पर लगातार नजर रखी जाए। ठोकरों की समय-समय पर जांच होती रहे और यदि कहीं मरम्मत की आवश्यकता हो तो उसे तुरंत पूरा किया जाए ताकि मिट्टी के कटाव को रोका जा सके।

उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि यमुना क्षेत्र में तैनात अधिकारी व कर्मचारी 24 घंटे सतर्क रहें ताकि किसी भी आपात स्थिति में फौरन कार्रवाई की जा सके। यमुना बांध के भीतर रहने वाले लोगों को भी जलस्तर की जानकारी देते रहें और जरूरत पड़ने पर उन्हें सुरक्षित स्थानों पर स्थानांतरित किया जाए। उन्होंने निर्देश दिया कि अधिकारी यमुना किनारे बसे गांवों के सरपंचों के साथ निरंतर तालमेल बनाए रखें।

इसके अलावा, राजेश खुल्लर ने गन्नौर स्थित भारतीय अंतरराष्ट्रीय फल-फूल मंडी का निरीक्षण कर लंबित मुद्दों पर बैठक की। इस दौरान उपायुक्त सुशील सारवान, एसडीएम सुभाष चंद्र, प्रवेश कादियान, तहसीलदार ललिता, एक्सईएन मंजीत हुड्डा, नायब तहसीलदार गजे सिंह, मार्केटिंग बोर्ड से सुभाष सिंह, बीडीपीओ राजेश टिवाना, एसडीओ विशाल, सरपंच आशीष त्यागी, सुंदरलाल, दीपक रापरिया व महक फोगाट मौजूद रहे।

Rajesh Khullar, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, conducted a field inspection of the Yamuna river area on Friday to review ongoing flood control measures. During his visit to Dahisra Ghat, he thoroughly examined the flood protection embankments constructed there.

Khullar instructed officials to closely monitor the rising water levels due to rainfall. He emphasized regular inspection of the embankments and immediate repairs wherever necessary to prevent soil erosion and damage.

He further directed that all officials and staff on duty in the Yamuna belt must remain alert round the clock so that any emergency can be tackled swiftly, preventing loss of life or property. Residents living inside the Yamuna embankment areas should be regularly informed about the water levels and relocated to safer places if needed.

Additionally, he emphasized coordination with the village sarpanches in areas adjoining the Yamuna for better preparedness and response.

Khullar also inspected the Indian International Horticulture Market in Gannaur and held a meeting to discuss various pending issues. During the Yamuna area inspection, he was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Sushil Sarwan, SDMs Subhash Chandra and Pravesh Kadian, Tehsildar Lalita, Irrigation Department XEN Manjeet Hooda, Naib Tehsildar Gaje Singh, Subhash Singh from the Marketing Board, BDPO Rajesh Tiwari, SDO Vishal, and local sarpanches Ashish Tyagi, Sunderlal, Deepak Raparia, and Mehak Phogat.
