Anil Vij Criticizes Congress for Leadership Confusion, Calls Politics a Game of Contradictions

Haryana's Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij sharply criticized the Congress party, stating that while Congress comments extensively on national issues, it has failed to resolve a basic leadership question within its own state unit.

He said, “Congress is vocal on major national matters, yet it has not been able to appoint a Leader of Opposition in just one of its state units – which is quite shameful.”

Vij was responding to media questions about Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Chandigarh and his meeting with leaders of the Haryana Congress. He highlighted that despite several meetings over the past 8 months, the party has been unable to reach a decision.

Taking a dig at the internal strife within Congress, Vij added, “Politics is a strange game – the very individuals who create disputes are often the same ones trying to settle them.”
