Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Trust Office Inaugurated in Yamunanagar; Discussion Held on Lohgarh Memorial Construction

Union Minister for Housing, Urban Affairs, and Power, Shri Manohar Lal, inaugurated the office of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Lohgarh Foundation Trust at the PWD Rest House in Byaspur, Yamunanagar, on Sunday by cutting the ribbon.

Following the inauguration, a detailed meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Power Minister with trust members to initiate the construction process of the Lohgarh Memorial.

The meeting also discussed the formation of a Monitoring Committee and an Expert Committee to oversee the construction and organize cultural programs reflecting Sikh heritage.

Former Haryana Cabinet Minister Shri Kanwar Pal was appointed as the Chairman of the Monitoring Committee, which will be responsible for reviewing the progress of the memorial’s construction and providing necessary recommendations to preserve and promote Sikh legacy.
