सोनीपत में पांच एकड़ में बन रही अवैध कॉलोनी पर प्रशासन का बुलडोजर

गांव अकबरपुर बारोटा के पास सबौली रोड पर मंगलवार को नगर योजनाकार विभाग (DTCP) ने एक बड़ी कार्रवाई की, जहां पांच एकड़ भूमि पर विकसित की जा रही अवैध कॉलोनी को ध्वस्त कर दिया गया। इस दौरान इंटरलॉकिंग टाइल से बनी सड़क, चहारदीवारी और सात डीपीसी (डैम्प प्रूफ कोर्स) गिराई गई।

अवैध कॉलोनियों में प्लॉट न खरीदें: जिला नगर योजनाकार
जिला नगर योजनाकार अजमेर सिंह ने जनता से अपील की कि वे भूमाफियाओं के झांसे में आकर अवैध कॉलोनियों में प्लॉट न खरीदें और अपनी मेहनत की कमाई को सुरक्षित रखें। उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि सरकार इन अवैध कॉलोनियों में किसी भी प्रकार की सुविधा नहीं देती। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी कि यदि कोई भी व्यक्ति इस प्रकार की अवैध कॉलोनी विकसित करता है, तो उसके खिलाफ शहरी क्षेत्र एवं नियंत्रित क्षेत्र अधिनियम के तहत कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

A massive demolition drive was carried out on Tuesday near Akbarpur Barota village on Sabauli Road, where an illegal colony spread over five acres was being developed. The Department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) led the operation, during which interlocking tile roads, boundary walls, and seven DPCs (Damp Proof Courses) were demolished.

Authorities Warn Against Buying Plots in Illegal Colonies
District Town Planner Ajmer Singh urged the public not to fall for land mafia traps and avoid investing in unauthorized colonies. He warned that such colonies do not receive any government facilities, and buyers risk losing their hard-earned money. He emphasized that strict action will be taken against those involved in illegal land development under the Urban Areas and Controlled Areas Act.
