बुधवार तड़के सोनीपत के खरखौदा क्षेत्र के गांव सैदपुर के पास एक बस और ट्रक की टक्कर हो गई, जिससे 25 कर्मचारी घायल हो गए। ये सभी मारुति के निर्माणाधीन प्लांट में काम करने जा रहे थे। हादसा सुबह करीब 5:15 बजे उस समय हुआ जब बस चालक ने ओवरटेक करने की कोशिश की, लेकिन ट्रक से टकरा गई।

बस सुबह 4:50 बजे जगदीशपुर-बारोटा चौकी के पास से चली थी और उसमें सवार सभी कर्मचारी आईटीआई पास करने के बाद अप्रेंटिस के लिए चुने गए थे। हादसे में बस का अगला हिस्सा बुरी तरह क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया और कई यात्रियों को गंभीर चोटें आईं। मौके पर पहुंचे राहगीरों ने घायलों को बाहर निकालकर खरखौदा के सरकारी अस्पताल पहुंचाया, जहां से गंभीर रूप से घायल कुछ लोगों को रोहतक पीजीआई रेफर कर दिया गया।

घायल कर्मचारियों की सूची

घायलों में शामिल हैं - अक्षय (हिसार, 20), रुष्ट कुमार (करनाल, 20), अमीर (करनाल, 22), अशोक (बिहार, 25), शिवम गुप्ता (प्रयागराज, 26), विकास कुमार (उत्तर प्रदेश, 21), रजत सैनी (मुलाना, 19), प्रिंस (अजमेर, 21), महेश सैनी (21), लाभ सिंह (कैथल, 24), पिंटू (करनाल, 24)। कुछ घायलों का प्राथमिक उपचार कर छुट्टी दे दी गई, जबकि कुछ को रोहतक पीजीआई रेफर किया गया।

ओवरटेकिंग बनी हादसे की वजह

पुलिस की प्रारंभिक जांच में सामने आया कि बस चालक ने ट्रक को ओवरटेक करने का प्रयास किया, लेकिन जगह की कमी के कारण बस ट्रक से टकरा गई। पुलिस ने मामले की विस्तृत जांच शुरू कर दी है।

A serious accident occurred near Saidpur village in Kharkhoda, Sonipat, early Wednesday morning, where a bus carrying workers collided with a truck, leaving 25 employees injured. The workers were on their way to the under-construction Maruti plant when the accident happened around 5:15 AM. The bus was attempting to overtake a truck but ended up colliding with it instead.

The bus had left Jagdishpur-Barota Check Post at 4:50 AM for the Maruti plant. All the employees on board were ITI graduates selected as apprentices. Upon impact, the front portion of the bus was severely damaged, and several passengers sustained injuries. Passersby rushed to help, extracting the injured from the bus and transporting them to a government hospital in Kharkhoda. Some critically injured individuals were referred to Rohtak PGI for advanced medical care.

List of Injured Individuals

Among the injured are Akshay (Hisar, 20), Rusht Kumar (Karnal, 20), Ameer (Karnal, 22), Ashok (Bihar, 25), Shivam Gupta (Prayagraj, 26), Vikas Kumar (Uttar Pradesh, 21), Rajat Saini (Mulana, 19), Prince (Ajmer, 21), Mahesh Saini (21), Laabh Singh (Kaithal, 24), and Pintu (Karnal, 24). Some victims were given first aid, while others were referred to Rohtak PGI.

Overtaking Blamed for the Accident

Preliminary police investigations suggest that the bus driver attempted to overtake the truck but, due to insufficient space, collided with it instead. The police have initiated a detailed investigation into the incident.
