Cautious Use of Social Media Emphasized: Awareness Program on National Science Day

A special event was organized by the Computer Science Department at Tau Devi Lal Government Women's College, Murthal, on the occasion of National Science Day. A poster-making, slogan-writing, and essay competition was held on the topic "The Role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Preventing Cybercrime."

Principal Dr. Seema Thakaran encouraged students to participate in the competition and educated them on ways to prevent cybercrime. She also highlighted the importance of National Science Day and advised students on the safe and cautious use of social media.

In the competition, Seema, Vaishali, Manu, and Devi secured first and second positions. The panel of judges included Dr. Nitin Antil, Dr. Praveen, and Dr. Vikas Malik. The event was attended by faculty members, including Dr. Rohit, Dr. Manoj (Commerce Department), Dr. Sandeep, Dr. Amit (Computer Science Department), and Dr. Komal Verma (English Department).
