DC Directs Officials to Expedite Land Identification for RRTS Depot

A crucial meeting regarding the establishment of an RRTS depot in Sonipat district was held on Tuesday at the Mini Secretariat. The meeting was chaired by DS Dhesi, Principal Advisor of the Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP), who joined via video conference and issued necessary guidelines to concerned officials.

It was informed that the proposed RRTS depot would require land measuring approximately 1,300 meters in length and 300 meters in width, which needs to be identified at the earliest. Following the video conference, Deputy Commissioner Sushil Sarwan held a separate meeting with district-level officers.

The DC directed the DDPO, DTP, EO, BDPO, and Naib Tehsildar to promptly identify and make available suitable land as per project requirements. He also instructed officials to ensure early repair and filling of potholes on all roads across the district.

The meeting was attended by CTM Dr. Anmol, DDPO Manish Malik, DTP Ajmer Singh, HSVP EO Siddharth Kumar, RRTS representative Ashwani Gupta, and other concerned officials.
