DC Inspects Kharkhoda Civil Hospital Following Complaints

In response to multiple complaints from the public, Deputy Commissioner Sushil Sarwan, along with SDM Dr. Nirmal Nagar, visited the Sub-Divisional Civil Hospital in Kharkhoda on Tuesday. During the inspection, the DC reviewed the emergency ward and checked the attendance registers of doctors and other healthcare staff. He instructed officials to ensure better medical services for patients and warned of strict action in cases of negligence.

While inspecting the venue of the upcoming Chief Minister’s rally in Kharkhoda, the Deputy Commissioner informed Civil Surgeon Dr. Jyotsna that numerous complaints regarding the hospital were being received. He directed her to conduct regular visits to the hospital and take concrete steps to improve its functioning.

The DC emphasized that emergency services at the hospital must remain operational round the clock. He later carried out a surprise inspection of the government hospital. Responding to concerns about the non-availability of blankets for patients, he stated that the issue had come to his notice and necessary arrangements had already been ordered.

Regarding several diagnostic machines that had arrived in June but were still non-functional, the Deputy Commissioner said that the hospital management had been instructed to immediately procure CPUs at their level so that patients do not face inconvenience. He also directed Senior Medical Officer Dr. Jitendra Ranga to work towards improving the overall healthcare services at the hospital.
