गन्नौर हत्याकांड: दो दोषियों को उम्रकैद और जुर्माना

गन्नौर के बड़ी थाना क्षेत्र में ड्यूटी पर जाते समय युवक की चाकू से हत्या के मामले में सोमवार को कोर्ट ने दो आरोपियों को दोषी करार देते हुए उम्रकैद की सजा सुनाई है। साथ ही दोनों पर 10-10 हजार रुपये का जुर्माना भी लगाया गया है।

यह घटना 20 जून 2020 की सुबह एचएसआईडीसी बड़ी के गेट नंबर दो के पास हुई थी, जब गांव बड़ी निवासी कुलदीप को ड्यूटी पर जाते समय चाकू मारकर मौत के घाट उतार दिया गया। कुलदीप एक निजी कंपनी में काम करते थे।

मृतक के पिता रविंद्र कुमार ने इस हत्या के पीछे पुरानी रंजिश बताते हुए गांव के ही रितिक और अतुल पर हत्या का आरोप लगाया था। शिकायत के बाद बड़ी थाना पुलिस ने दोनों आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर अदालत में पेश किया, जहां से उन्हें न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया।

सुनवाई के दौरान अतिरिक्त सत्र न्यायाधीश नरेंद्र की अदालत ने दोनों दोषियों को भारतीय दंड संहिता की धारा 302 के तहत उम्रकैद और 10-10 हजार रुपये के जुर्माने की सजा सुनाई। जुर्माना न चुकाने की स्थिति में तीन महीने की अतिरिक्त सजा भुगतनी होगी। कोर्ट के आदेश के बाद सजा वारंट जारी कर दोनों को जेल भेज दिया गया है।

In a case of murder where a young man was stabbed to death while on his way to work in the Ganaur area under Barhi Police Station, the court on Monday sentenced two accused to life imprisonment based on the evidence presented. Both were also fined ?10,000 each.

The incident took place on the morning of June 20, 2020, near Gate No. 2 of HSIIDC Barhi, when Kuldeep, a resident of Barhi village and an employee at a private company, was fatally stabbed.

Kuldeep’s father, Ravindra Kumar, had alleged that two youths from the same village, Ritik and Atul, committed the murder due to an old enmity. Based on his complaint, Barhi Police arrested both accused and presented them in court, after which they were sent to judicial custody.

During the hearing, Additional Sessions Judge Narendra sentenced both Ritik and Atul to life imprisonment under Section 302 of the IPC and imposed a fine of ?10,000 each. In case of failure to pay the fine, the convicts will serve an additional three months in prison. After the verdict, warrant for sentence was issued and both convicts were sent to jail.
