Gymnasts Win 7 Bronze Medals at National Championship

Once again, the gymnasts of Motilal Nehru School of Sports, Rai, have made their mark at the national level. At the Open Senior Acrobatics National Championship held in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, the school’s gymnasts secured seven bronze medals. The team earned third place in both the senior and junior categories.

Athletes Nitish, Nishant, Anshul, Riyanshu, Dhriti, Sakshi, and Diksha contributed to the bronze medal tally with their stellar performances. In addition, Lavanya, Vidhi Kundu, Mamta, Dagar, and Anmol showcased their remarkable talent and reached the finals, although they narrowly missed out on medals.

Their achievements have not only brought pride to the school and the state but have also opened the doors for selection in the national training camp.

The gymnasts were congratulated by Prof. Ashok Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of Haryana Sports University, who emphasized that sports can lead to great heights and create career opportunities for young athletes.
