Haryana CET Exam Date Finalized: Over 31 Lakh Candidates to Appear, AI Surveillance to Prevent Cheating

Prepare for CET Exam: Haryana CET Likely by End of May, AI-Based Surveillance to Ensure Fairness

The date for Haryana's Common Eligibility Test (CET) is almost finalized. According to multiple meetings between the Haryana CM Office (CMO) and the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC), the exam is likely to be held on May 28 or May 30. This timeline aligns with the beginning of summer vacations in schools.

Around 31 lakh candidates are expected to appear for Group C and D exams. To ensure a fair and cheating-free exam process, the government will deploy Artificial Intelligence (AI) and CCTV surveillance at every exam center.

Key Highlights:

• 17 lakh applicants expected for Group D and 14 lakh for Group C.

• This is the first time over 40 lakh youth will apply for CET in Haryana.

• The last CET was conducted on 5 November 2022, where 8 lakh out of 11.5 lakh registered candidates appeared.

One-Time Registration Likely from May 2:

HSSC has drafted the exam schedule and is preparing the registration portal. One-Time Registration (OTR) is likely to begin from May 2, and a dedicated advertisement for it will be published by the end of April or early May.

The exam for Group C will be at 10+2 level, while for Group D it will be Matriculation level. Candidates who are yet to complete the required qualification but are eligible to do so by 2025 can also appear in the exam.

However, only those who meet the required qualifications or experience will be considered for the skill test or written exam.
