तेज बारिश से आयुष्मान केंद्र ढहा, सड़कों पर बहा पानी, शहर जलमग्न

मंगलवार को हुई तेज बारिश के कारण जिले में आयुष्मान केंद्र ढह गया, वहीं एक मकान की छत और दूसरे की दीवार गिर गई। लगातार बारिश के चलते शहर की सड़कों पर तालाब जैसा नजारा देखने को मिला।

शनि मंदिर के पास दोनों अंडरपास में पानी भरने से शहर का आधा हिस्सा आवाजाही से प्रभावित रहा। लगभग हर सड़क पर पानी जमा हो गया था। बारिश का पानी शहर की लगभग सभी प्रमुख कॉलोनियों में घुस गया। सुभाष चौक गुरुद्वारा मार्ग पर पानी नदी की तरह बह रहा था। शनि मंदिर, सेक्टर-14 और गोहाना मार्ग की स्थिति भी कुछ ऐसी ही रही। मुख्य बस स्टैंड भी पूरी तरह से पानी से घिरा रहा। देर शाम तक जिले में 85 मिमी बारिश दर्ज की गई। मुरथल और राई क्षेत्र में भी अच्छी बारिश हुई।

गन्नौर में सोमवार दोपहर 1 बजे से शाम 6 बजे तक 50 मिमी बारिश रिकॉर्ड की गई और बारिश शाम 6 बजे के बाद भी जारी रही। जगह-जगह जलभराव ने जल निकासी की व्यवस्थाओं की पोल खोल दी। शहर के कई इलाकों में सीवर ओवरफ्लो हो गया। रेलवे रोड, नगर पालिका रोड, बादशाही रोड, ईदगाह रोड, पांची रोड, खेड़ी रोड समेत अन्य क्षेत्रों में जनजीवन अस्त-व्यस्त हो गया।

शहर की मुख्य सड़क पर जमा पानी लोगों के लिए परेशानी का कारण बना क्योंकि यह सड़क जीटी रोड को शहर व आस-पास के गांवों से जोड़ती है।

Due to heavy rainfall on Tuesday, the Ayushman Centre in the district collapsed, along with the roof of one house and the wall of another. Roads across the city looked more like ponds due to waterlogging.

Water accumulated in both underpasses near the Shani Mandir, severely affecting movement in almost half of the city. Virtually every road in the city appeared flooded. Rainwater entered nearly all major residential colonies. Water was flowing like a river on Subhash Chowk Gurudwara Road, and similar scenes were observed in areas like Shani Mandir, Sector-14, and Gohana Road. The main bus stand also remained surrounded by water. By late evening, the district recorded 85 mm of rainfall, while Murthal and Rai areas also experienced heavy rain.

In Ganaur, 50 mm of rain was recorded between 1 PM and 6 PM on Monday, with the downpour continuing into the evening. Waterlogging at multiple locations exposed the inefficiency of the city's drainage system. Several areas reported overflowing sewers. Daily life was thrown off balance in places like Railway Road, Municipal Road, Badshahi Road, Eidgah Road, Panchi Road, and Kheri Road.

Water accumulation on the main city road became a major problem, as this road connects GT Road with the city and nearby villages.
