Kejriwal's Court Appearance in Sonipat Today Over Allegation of Poisoning Yamuna River

Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is scheduled to appear in Sonipat Court today in connection with his allegation that the Haryana BJP government poisoned the Yamuna River during the Delhi Assembly elections. However, it remains uncertain whether Kejriwal will appear in court or not.

Earlier, on February 17, a hearing was held on the same matter, but Kejriwal did not appear in court. Instead, a delegation of his lawyers represented him.

The Haryana government had filed a criminal complaint against Kejriwal under Section 223 of the BNS. Following this, Sonipat's Chief Judicial Magistrate, Neha Goyal, issued a notice summoning Kejriwal to appear in court on February 17. However, he failed to do so, and his lawyers attended the hearing on his behalf.

During the hearing, Kejriwal’s lawyers argued that they had not received any evidence along with the notice. In response, the court provided evidence and a pen drive related to the case. The next hearing was then scheduled for March 20, where Kejriwal was expected to appear.

Now, all eyes are on whether Arvind Kejriwal will attend the court hearing today or not.
