गन्नौर के पुरखास गांव के पहलवान कुश गुलिया ने उत्तर प्रदेश के बलिया में आयोजित 69वीं नेशनल स्कूल गेम्स अंडर-17 कुश्ती चैंपियनशिप में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करते हुए रजत पदक अपने नाम किया। उनके इस प्रदर्शन ने न केवल गांव और गन्नौर, बल्कि पूरे हरियाणा का गौरव बढ़ाया है।

प्रतियोगिता में कुश गुलिया ने उत्तराखंड, मध्य प्रदेश और पंजाब के अनुभवी पहलवानों को हराकर फाइनल में जगह बनाई। फाइनल मुकाबले में कड़े संघर्ष के बाद वह रजत पदक हासिल करने में सफल रहे। कुश अपने पिता और कोच, पहलवान रमेश गुलिया के मार्गदर्शन में लगातार बेहतरीन प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं।

रमेश गुलिया सबसे कम उम्र में अर्जुन पुरस्कार प्राप्त करने वाले पहलवान हैं और वर्तमान में हरियाणा पुलिस में डीएसपी के पद पर कार्यरत हैं। कुश के बड़े भाई, लव गुलिया भी अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर कई उपलब्धियां हासिल कर चुके हैं। कुश की जीत से पुरखास और आसपास के क्षेत्र में खुशी की लहर दौड़ गई। ग्रामीणों और खेलप्रेमियों ने उन्हें बधाई दी। कुश ने अपनी सफलता का श्रेय माता-पिता और कोच को देते हुए कहा कि उनका लक्ष्य आने वाले वर्षों में अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिताओं में देश के लिए स्वर्ण पदक जीतना है।

Kush Gulia, a wrestler from Purkhas village in Ganaur, showcased an outstanding performance at the 69th National School Games (Under-17 Wrestling Championship) held in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, and secured the silver medal. His achievement has brought pride not only to his village and Ganaur but also to the entire state of Haryana.

During the competition, Kush defeated strong contenders from Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Punjab to reach the finals. After a tough and competitive final bout, he clinched the silver medal. Kush continues to excel under the guidance of his father and coach, renowned wrestler Ramesh Gulia.

Ramesh Gulia is the youngest wrestler to receive the prestigious Arjuna Award and currently serves as a DSP in Haryana Police. Kush’s elder brother, Lav Gulia, has also earned several accolades at the international level. His victory has created an atmosphere of celebration in Purkhas and the surrounding areas. Villagers and sports enthusiasts congratulated him. Kush dedicated his success to his parents and coach, stating that his goal is to win gold for India in international competitions in the coming years.
