Last Chance for Admission on Remaining 80 Seats in Polytechnic College

Students seeking admission in the Government Polytechnic Institute have been given a final opportunity. There are 80 seats still available under various reserved categories including Economically Weaker Section (EWS), PM CARES, Kashmiri Migrants, and Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW). The seats in Mechanical and Electrical trades have already been filled.

According to Principal Pravesh Kumar, applications are invited for the remaining seats under the specified categories. Eligible candidates can apply until August 14. The application form is available on the official website www.gpsonipat.ac.in. After filling the form and attaching the required documents, candidates can either email it to admissiongps25@gmail.com or submit it in person at the institute.

Out of 630 total seats, 550 have already been filled during the first two rounds of admission. The remaining 80 seats will be filled on a merit basis, and applications will be accepted till 1 PM on the last day. Seat allotment will happen the same day.

Applicants must provide the following documents: 10th mark sheet, family ID, applicable qualification certificates (12th PCM, NSQF Level-4, or 2-year ITI), character certificate from the school, Aadhaar card, income certificate for FY 2025, copy of bank account, passport-size photo, and parent’s mobile number. Once a seat is allotted, students must pay an online fee of ₹4600 (for boys) or ₹3100 (for girls) immediately, otherwise the seat will be cancelled.
