Tamanna Jain: A Ray of Hope for Underprivileged Children from Paris

Tamanna Jain, a resident of Sector-14, Sonipat, is currently based in Paris. After completing her PhD from the University of Cambridge, London, she moved to Paris in October 2024, where she is working as a post-doctoral researcher in cosmology and gravitation. Her research focuses on the dynamics of dense celestial objects such as black holes and neutron stars.
Tamanna has been associated with the Spread Smile Foundation for several years. Earlier, she personally taught children living in slum areas of Sonipat. Even while living abroad, she continues to support these children financially and through online teaching sessions. Inspired by her efforts, several of her international friends have also stepped forward to support the initiative.

Sanjeet Sharma Keeps Indian Culture Alive in London

Sanjeet Sharma, originally from Aurangabad village in Sonipat, has been living in London for the past 16 years and works with a reputed company. He is an active member of the Haryana Association UK and plays a key role in promoting Indian and Haryanvi culture overseas.
He shared that festivals like Holi and Diwali are celebrated collectively with great enthusiasm in London. National occasions such as Independence Day and Republic Day are marked by hoisting the Indian flag. Through traditional attire and cultural performances, the vibrant essence of Indian heritage is showcased at various events.

Dr. Sangeeta Dahiya Helping Youth Take Global Flight

Dr. Sangeeta Dahiya, a native of Rohna village in the Kharkhoda region, currently resides in London. Despite settling abroad, her strong sense of patriotism and social responsibility keeps her closely connected to India.
She has played a significant role in helping many youths from Haryana secure employment opportunities in London. Beyond connecting them with overseas companies, she provides guidance at every stage, including visa procedures, documentation, accommodation and workplace integration. Dr. Dahiya believes that even abroad, one can find a sense of belonging and support. She emphasizes that although she lives in London, Indian culture and values remain central to her life.
