सोनीपत में टैक्स चोरों पर निगम का शिकंजा, लाखों की संपत्ति सील

नगर निगम टैक्स न भरने वालों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई कर रहा है। जीटी रोड स्थित जुरासिक पार्क के पास एक बिल्डिंग को टैक्स न चुकाने पर सील कर दिया गया। बिल्डिंग मालिक पर ₹27.31 लाख का टैक्स बकाया था।

नगर निगम की ओर से पहले कई बार नोटिस भेजे गए थे, लेकिन भुगतान न होने पर बुधवार को निगम की टीम मौके पर कार्रवाई के लिए पहुंची।

जोनल टैक्स ऑफिसर राजेंद्र चुघ ने बताया कि बकायादारों को कई बार मौका दिया गया, लेकिन टैक्स न चुकाने वालों को अंततः नोटिस देने के बाद अब सीधी कार्रवाई की जा रही है।

The Municipal Corporation is taking strict action against tax defaulters in Sonipat. Due to non-payment of dues, a building near Jurassic Park on GT Road has been sealed. The owner reportedly owes ?27.31 lakh in pending taxes.

Despite being served multiple notices earlier by the municipal authorities, the owner failed to make the payment. On Wednesday, the Municipal Corporation team arrived to take enforcement action.

Zonal Tax Officer Rajendra Chugh stated that defaulters were given several opportunities to pay their dues. However, after repeated non-compliance, legal notices were served, and now action is being taken against those who still fail to pay.
