सोनीपत में गीता संदेश फैलाने को दीवारों पर सजे श्रीकृष्ण के चित्र

गीता के संदेश को व्यापक रूप से जन-जन तक पहुंचाने के उद्देश्य से शहर के मुख्य स्थानों और चौक-चौराहों पर विशेष होर्डिंग्स लगाए गए हैं। इसके साथ ही आयोजन स्थल की दीवारों पर गीता के उपदेशों पर आधारित आकर्षक चित्रकारी भी की जा रही है।
गोहाना रोड स्थित सुभाष स्टेडियम में 29 नवंबर से 01 दिसंबर तक जिलास्तरीय गीता जयंती महोत्सव आयोजित होगा।

जालंधर से तरुण कुमार के नेतृत्व में पहुंचे आठ सदस्यीय कलाकारों का दल भगवान श्रीकृष्ण से संबंधित चित्रों और गीता संदेशों को दीवारों पर उकेर रहा है। तरुण कुमार के अनुसार, उनकी टीम पिछले चार वर्षों से गीता-आधारित स्लोगन और पेंटिंग का कार्य कर रही है और इससे पहले कुरुक्षेत्र में भी दीवार-लेखन कर चुकी है।
सोनीपत में गीता भवन रोड के समीप बने फ्लाईओवर की दीवारों पर चित्रकारी पूरी की जा चुकी है तथा अब आयोजन स्थल के मुख्य प्रवेश द्वार पर काम जारी है। इन चित्रों का उद्देश्य न केवल शहर को गीता महोत्सव के रंग में रंगना है, बल्कि श्रीमद्भागवत गीता के संदेशों को लोगों तक प्रेरक रूप में पहुंचाना भी है।

कला विद्यार्थी भी अभियान का हिस्सा
उपायुक्त सुशील सारवान ने बताया कि चित्रकारी में श्रीकृष्ण-अर्जुन संवाद, महाभारत के प्रमुख प्रसंग, धर्म-अधर्म, कर्तव्य, निष्काम कर्मयोग और जीवन दर्शन से जुड़े संदेश विशेष रूप से शामिल किए जा रहे हैं ताकि युवा पीढ़ी को गीता जयंती का संदेश रचनात्मक और प्रभावशाली तरीके से मिल सके।
साथ ही विभिन्न स्कूलों व कॉलेजों के कला विभागों के विद्यार्थियों को भी इस अभियान से जोड़ा गया है, जिससे उन्हें अपनी कला और ज्ञान प्रदर्शित करने का अवसर मिलेगा।

दीवारों पर उकेरे दृश्य बढ़ाएंगे शहर की सुंदरता
उपायुक्त सारवान ने बताया कि गीता की शिक्षाएं केवल धार्मिक नहीं बल्कि जीवन प्रबंधन, सत्य, सदाचार, कर्तव्य और नेतृत्व जैसे मूल्यों को भी रेखांकित करती हैं। ऐसे में दीवारों पर बनी ये चित्रकारी न केवल शहर की सुंदरता बढ़ाएगी, बल्कि युवाओं को सकारात्मक सोच अपनाने के लिए भी प्रेरित करेगी। उन्होंने जिले के लोगों से आग्रह किया कि वे गीता जयंती महोत्सव में शामिल होकर भारतीय संस्कृति और अध्यात्म के इस पर्व को सफल बनाएं।

To spread the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita among the masses, hoardings have been placed at major locations and intersections across the city. Along with this, murals depicting Gita’s messages are being painted on the walls at the event venue.
The district-level Gita Jayanti Mahotsav will be celebrated from November 29 to December 1 at Subhash Stadium on Gohana Road.

An eight-member team of artists from Jalandhar, led by Tarun Kumar, is creating murals of Lord Krishna along with inspirational slogans based on the Gita. Tarun Kumar shared that his team has been painting Gita-themed slogans and artwork for the last four years and had earlier completed similar work in Kurukshetra.
In Sonepat, artwork near the flyover on Gita Bhawan Road has been completed, and the team has now begun work at the main entrance of the event venue. These murals aim not only to add festive vibrance to the city but also to creatively convey the profound messages of the Bhagavad Gita to the public.

Art Students Join the Campaign
Deputy Commissioner Sushil Sarwan said that the murals feature key Gita themes such as the Krishna-Arjuna dialogue, important episodes from the Mahabharata, concepts of duty, righteousness, Nishkam Karma Yoga, and life philosophy. The goal is to present Gita’s teachings to the youth in an inspiring and creative manner.
Art departments of various schools and colleges have also been involved, giving students an opportunity to showcase their talent and understanding.

Murals Will Beautify the City
DC Sarwan added that the teachings of the Gita are not limited to religion but also offer guidance on life management, truth, moral conduct, duty, and leadership. The murals will not only enhance the city's aesthetic appeal but also encourage citizens, especially youth, to adopt a positive approach to life. He appealed to residents to participate in the district-level Gita Jayanti Mahotsav and contribute to celebrating India’s spiritual and cultural heritage.
