कुख्यात अपराधी अमन भैंसवाल को आखिरकार पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। वह अमर भाऊ गैंग के लिए काम करता था, जो लंबे समय से कारोबारियों में डर और पुलिस के लिए बड़ी चुनौती बना हुआ है। अमन पर गोहाना स्थित प्रसिद्ध मातूराम हलवाई की दुकान पर फायरिंग कर दो करोड़ रुपये की रंगदारी मांगने का आरोप है।

मातूराम हलवाई की दुकान सदर थाना और महिला थाना के बेहद करीब स्थित है, जबकि सिटी थाना और डीसीपी कार्यालय भी आधा किलोमीटर की दूरी पर हैं। इसके बावजूद बीते साढ़े छह वर्षों में यहां तीन बार फायरिंग और रंगदारी की वारदात हो चुकी है। हर बार रंगदारी की रकम बढ़ती गई। पुलिस अब तक इस मामले में 20 से अधिक बदमाशों को गिरफ्तार कर चुकी है। वहीं, अमेरिका फरार अमन को हरियाणा एसटीएफ ने दिल्ली से दबोच लिया।

पहली वारदात 13 जुलाई 2017 को हुई थी, जब मातूराम हलवाई और पास की दुकान पर फायरिंग कर दोनों व्यापारियों से 50-50 लाख रुपये की मांग की गई थी। उस समय पुलिस ने आरोपियों को पकड़कर मामला सुलझा लिया था।

दूसरी घटना 2019 में हुई, जब मातूराम की जलेबी के नाम से दुकान चला रहे हलवाई पर फायरिंग कर एक करोड़ रुपये की रंगदारी मांगी गई। पुलिस ने नवीन, अमित सहित अन्य आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया था।

तीसरी और सबसे गंभीर वारदात 21 जनवरी 2024 को हुई। बाइक सवार तीन बदमाशों ने दुकान पर ताबड़तोड़ गोलियां चलाईं, जिसमें माहरा गांव निवासी दूध विक्रेता बिजेंद्र घायल हो गया। मौके से 30 से ज्यादा खाली खोल बरामद हुए। दुकान मालिक नीरज ने पुलिस को एक पर्ची सौंपी, जिसमें भाऊ गैंग, काला खुरमपुर गैंग और नीरज फरीदपुर गैंग के नाम से दो करोड़ रुपये की रंगदारी मांगी गई थी।

जब स्थानीय पुलिस की टीमें नाकाम रहीं, तब एसटीएफ सोनीपत यूनिट ने कार्रवाई करते हुए एक के बाद एक 20 से ज्यादा आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया। इनमें मुठभेड़ के बाद पकड़े गए मुख्य शूटर मोहित, रमन और हैप्पी भी शामिल थे।

अमन भैंसवाल पर हत्या के प्रयास, रंगदारी और अन्य संगीन अपराधों के कई मामले हरियाणा, पंजाब और दिल्ली में दर्ज हैं। उसने फर्जी पासपोर्ट बनवाकर 6 मई 2024 को अमेरिका भागने की कोशिश की थी। इंटरपोल के रेड कॉर्नर नोटिस के बाद उसे अमेरिका से डिपोर्ट किया गया। बुधवार सुबह दिल्ली के इंदिरा गांधी अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पर उतरते ही हरियाणा एसटीएफ ने उसे गिरफ्तार कर लिया।

Notorious criminal Aman Bhainswal has finally been arrested by the police. He was working for the Amar Bhau gang, which has become a symbol of fear among businessmen and a major challenge for law enforcement agencies. Aman is accused of firing at the well-known Maturam Halwai shop in Gohana and demanding an extortion amount of ?2 crore.

The Maturam Halwai shop is located close to the Sadar and Women Police Stations, while the City Police Station and the DCP office are barely half a kilometer away. Despite this, the shop has been targeted three times in the past six and a half years. Each time, the extortion amount kept increasing. So far, police have arrested more than 20 criminals in connection with these incidents. Aman, who had fled to the United States, was arrested by the Haryana STF in Delhi.

The first incident took place on July 13, 2017, when shots were fired at Maturam Halwai and a nearby shop, and ?50 lakh was demanded from each trader. Police arrested the culprits at that time, bringing temporary relief.

The second incident occurred in 2019, when firing was carried out at a sweet shop operating under the name “Maturam Ki Jalebi,” and an extortion demand of ?1 crore was made. Police arrested Naveen, Amit, and other accused in that case.

The third and most serious incident happened on January 21, 2024. Three bike-borne criminals opened indiscriminate fire at the shop, injuring a milk vendor named Bijender from Mahra village. More than 30 empty cartridges were recovered from the spot. The shop owner, Neeraj, handed over a note to the police in which the Bhau Gang, Kala Khurampur Gang, and Neeraj Faridpur Gang demanded ?2 crore as extortion.

When local police teams failed to crack the case, the Sonipat unit of the Special Task Force launched a major operation and arrested over 20 accused. Among them were main shooter Mohit, along with Raman and Happy, who were arrested after encounters.

Aman Bhainswal is named in multiple serious cases, including murder attempt and extortion, across Haryana, Punjab, and Delhi. He fled to the US on May 6, 2024, using a fake passport. Following an Interpol Red Corner Notice, US authorities deported him. As soon as he landed at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Wednesday morning, Haryana STF took him into custody.
