Former media advisor to the Chief Minister and BJP’s mayoral candidate from Sonipat, Rajiv Jain, conducted an intensive public outreach campaign on Sunday, seeking support from the people. During the campaign, he presented the BJP’s policies along with the development projects of the Central and State governments, and reiterated his commitment to the development of the Sonipat Municipal Corporation area.

He emphatically stated that, with public support, once the mayor is elected, strict measures will be imposed on officials to transform the Sonipat Municipal Corporation area within the next ten months. He expressed gratitude for the support, affection, and cooperation he has received, and declared that the next mayor will not be him, but the common people of the city.

Rajiv Jain sought the blessings of the people of Sonipat at gatherings held at various locations—including Adarsh Nagar, Community Center Sector-14 for Senior Citizens, Saini Bhavan Kabirpur, Bhim Nagar Chaupal, Mata Vaishno Devi Temple, Nandvani Nagar, Chintpurni Colony, Shastri Colony, Sector-23 Market, Mohan Nagar, Vikas Nagar Lane No.1, Dahia Colony, Dev Nagar Durga Temple, near CRZ, Bharatpuri, Bandepur, and Rishi Colony—and appealed for a massive vote in favor of the BJP on March 2. At these gatherings, local residents warmly welcomed Rajiv Jain with garlands.

During the public outreach campaign, Rajiv Jain remarked that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, both the country and the state are undergoing a transformation. “We are working to bring the achievements of the Modi government to every household,” he said. He added that the BJP-led Central and State governments are working for the upliftment of all sections of society with the core principles of service, good governance, welfare for the poor, and 'Antyodaya' (upliftment of the last person). Due to the government’s clear intentions and honest approach, beneficiaries are now receiving the full benefits of every scheme.

He expressed confidence that the enthusiasm among the people signals a decisive victory for the BJP in the upcoming Municipal Corporation elections and that, under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, a "Triple Engine" government will be formed in the state. Rajiv Jain assured the public that he will work diligently to understand and resolve their issues, and reiterated his commitment to the development of the Municipal Corporation area. The gatherings were attended by many senior BJP leaders, workers, and local citizens. BJP workers noted that the overwhelming public support for the party candidate indicates that the people favor development and transparent governance. They expressed confidence that, with the public’s cooperation and support, Sonipat will once again witness the blossoming of the “lotus” (the BJP symbol).

A Commitment to a Beautiful and Clean City:
BJP mayoral candidate Rajiv Jain stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, a "Triple Engine" government will be formed in the state, accelerating development. He assured that no effort will be spared to make the Sonipat Municipal Corporation area beautiful and clean. He highlighted that during the previous term of the BJP government, 131 parks were constructed in previously polluted areas of Sonipat city, and 162 community centers were built in various neighborhoods. In the outer colonies, initiatives such as laying sewage and drinking water pipelines, covering Drain No. 6, constructing a foot over bridge on Rathdhana Road at a cost of ?110 crore, and launching a canal-based drinking water project at a cost of ?25 crore have been implemented. Basic works such as initiating door-to-door garbage collection and setting up a waste management plant in Murthal at a cost of ?150 crore have also been completed. Furthermore, in several colonies including Kailash Colony, Baniyapur Khurd, Jeevan Nagar, and Jeevan Vihar, overhead electrical wires that had been hanging over houses for years have been removed. He also mentioned that the incomplete projects from former Cabinet Minister Kavita Jain’s term will be completed under this plan.
