कम हवा की रफ्तार के कारण सोमवार को दिल्ली की वायु गुणवत्ता फिर से "बहुत खराब" श्रेणी में पहुंच गई। केवल दिल्ली ही नहीं, बल्कि पूरे एनसीआर में प्रदूषण का स्तर तेजी से बढ़ा है। सोमवार को देश के टॉप-10 सबसे प्रदूषित शहरों में सभी शहर एनसीआर से थे, जिनमें सोनीपत सबसे ऊपर रहा।

नवंबर के अधिकांश दिनों में दिल्ली की एयर क्वालिटी सीवियर या बहुत खराब कैटेगरी में दर्ज हुई। 24 दिनों बाद रविवार को AQI "बहुत खराब" से "खराब" कैटेगरी में आया था, लेकिन अब हालात फिर से बिगड़ने लगे हैं। अगले तीन से चार दिनों तक किसी राहत की उम्मीद नहीं है।

सेंट्रल पॉल्यूशन कंट्रोल बोर्ड (CPCB) के अनुसार, रविवार को दिल्ली का AQI 279 था, जो सोमवार को बढ़कर 304 हो गया। CPCB के SAMEER ऐप डेटा के मुताबिक, 38 मॉनिटरिंग स्टेशनों में से 24 ने वायु गुणवत्ता "बहुत खराब" और 14 ने "खराब" श्रेणी में दर्ज की। वहीं स्विस ऐप IQ Air ने दिल्ली का AQI 247 रिकॉर्ड किया।

Due to low wind speed on Monday, Delhi’s air quality deteriorated once again and slipped back into the “very poor” category. Not just the national capital, but several cities across the NCR also recorded extremely high pollution levels. On this day, all of India’s top 10 most polluted cities belonged to the NCR region, with Sonipat registering the worst air quality.

Throughout most of November, Delhi’s air quality remained in the “severe” or “very poor” zone. After 24 days, the Air Quality Index (AQI) finally improved slightly on Sunday, shifting from “very poor” to “poor,” but conditions worsened again on Monday. Experts warn that no relief is expected for the next three to four days.

According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s AQI stood at 279 on Sunday and climbed to 304 on Monday. SAMEER app data shows that out of 38 monitoring stations in the city, 24 recorded air quality in the “very poor” range and 14 stations reported “poor” levels. Meanwhile, Swiss platform IQAir recorded Delhi’s AQI at 247.
