जींद-गोहाना ग्रीनफील्ड हाईवे पर गांव ईशापुर खेड़ी के पास सोमवार सुबह एक दर्दनाक सड़क हादसा हो गया। तेज रफ्तार और लापरवाही से चल रहे ट्राला चालक ने अचानक ब्रेक लगाकर वाहन को दूसरी ओर मोड़ दिया, जिससे पीछे से आ रही सेलेरियो कार उससे जा टकराई। इस हादसे में हरियाणा पुलिस में तैनात एएसआई सीमा की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई।

हादसे में सीमा के सिर में गंभीर चोटें आईं। वह तीन बच्चों की मां थीं। मृतका के पति आनंद कुमार की शिकायत पर बरोदा थाना में ट्राला चालक के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज किया गया है।

परिजनों के अनुसार एएसआई सीमा वर्तमान में जींद के कोर्ट कॉम्प्लेक्स क्षेत्र में तैनात थीं और सोमवार सुबह ड्यूटी पर जा रही थीं। सुबह करीब 10 बजे जब उनकी कार जम्मू-कटरा एक्सप्रेसवे के पुल के नीचे, गांव ईशापुर खेड़ी के पास पहुंची, तो आगे चल रहे ट्राला चालक ने अचानक ब्रेक लगाकर वाहन मोड़ दिया। ट्राला में धान की बोरियां भरी हुई थीं, जिससे टक्कर बेहद घातक साबित हुई।

राहगीरों की मदद से सीमा को कार से बाहर निकाला गया और तुरंत अस्पताल ले जाया गया, लेकिन सिर में गंभीर चोटों के कारण उनकी जान नहीं बच सकी।

हादसे की सूचना मिलने पर पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और जांच शुरू की। गोहाना के नागरिक अस्पताल में पोस्टमार्टम के बाद शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया। एसीपी राहुल देव और बरोदा थाना प्रभारी धर्मबीर ने परिवार को सांत्वना दी और दोषी के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई का आश्वासन दिया।

A tragic road accident occurred on the Jind–Gohana Greenfield Highway near Ishapur Khedi village on Monday morning, resulting in the death of Haryana Police Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Seema. The incident took place when a truck driver suddenly applied brakes and sharply turned the vehicle, causing a Celerio car coming from behind to crash into it.

ASI Seema sustained severe head injuries in the collision and succumbed to them. She was a mother of three. Following a complaint filed by her husband, Anand Kumar, a case has been registered against the truck driver at Baroda police station.

According to the family, ASI Seema was posted in the Jind court complex area and was on her way to duty at around 10 a.m. As her car reached under the Jammu–Katra Expressway bridge near Ishapur Khedi, the truck ahead, reportedly being driven at high speed and negligently, suddenly braked and swerved. The truck was loaded with sacks of paddy, making the impact fatal.

Passersby helped rescue her from the damaged car and rushed her to the hospital, but she could not survive due to critical head injuries.

Police officials reached the spot, conducted a preliminary investigation, and later got the body post-mortemed at the Civil Hospital in Gohana. ACP Rahul Dev and Baroda SHO Dharmbir visited the bereaved family, offering condolences and assuring strict legal action against the accused.
