शादी समारोह में युवक पर हमला करने वाले दो आरोपी पुलिस गिरफ्त में

शादी समारोह के दौरान युवक पर हुए हमले के मामले में बड़ी थाना पुलिस ने दो आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया है। गिरफ्तार किए गए आरोपियों की पहचान गांव बेगा निवासी राहुल उर्फ मोंटी और गांव खेड़ी तगा निवासी प्रिंस के रूप में हुई है। पुलिस ने दोनों को अदालत में पेश कर दो दिन के पुलिस रिमांड पर लिया है।

बड़ी थाना प्रभारी महेश कुमार ने बताया कि पीड़ित रोहित, निवासी गांव सैंय्या खेड़ा, ने इस संबंध में शिकायत दर्ज कराई थी। रोहित के अनुसार 14 दिसंबर की रात जीटी रोड स्थित कनक गार्डन में एक शादी समारोह के दौरान गाड़ी के पास खड़े होने को लेकर उसका आकाश उर्फ निक्की, राहुल उर्फ मोंटी और प्रिंस के साथ विवाद हो गया था।

विवाद बढ़ने पर आरोपियों ने अपने अन्य साथियों के साथ मिलकर रोहित पर डंडों और फरसे से हमला कर दिया, जिससे वह घायल हो गया। पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए राहुल और प्रिंस को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है, जबकि अन्य आरोपियों की तलाश जारी है।

पूछताछ के दौरान आरोपियों ने बताया कि रोहित उनकी गाड़ी के बोनट पर शराब की बोतल रखकर शराब पी रहा था। उन्होंने जब उसे वहां से हटने को कहा तो कहासुनी हो गई, जो बाद में झगड़े में बदल गई।

Police from Bari police station have arrested two accused in connection with an attack on a youth during a wedding function. The arrested persons have been identified as Rahul alias Monty, a resident of Bega village, and Prince from Kheri Taga village. Both were produced before a court and sent on a two-day police remand.

Bari police station in-charge Mahesh Kumar stated that the victim, Rohit, a resident of Saiyya Khera village, had lodged a complaint regarding the incident. According to the FIR, on the night of December 14, an argument broke out at Kanak Garden on GT Road over standing near a car. The dispute involved Rohit and the accused—Akash alias Nikki, Rahul alias Monty, and Prince.

The argument escalated, after which the accused, along with their associates, allegedly attacked Rohit using sticks and a sharp-edged weapon. Acting on the complaint, police arrested Rahul and Prince, while efforts are underway to apprehend the remaining accused.

During interrogation, the arrested men claimed that Rohit was drinking alcohol after placing a bottle on the bonnet of their car. When they asked him to move away, a verbal altercation ensued, which later turned into a physical fight.
