सोनीपत के गांव रोहणा में 39 वर्षीय योगेंद्र की उनके ही घर में गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई, जब वे अपने दोस्तों के साथ घर में बैठे हंसी-मजाक कर रहे थे। हत्या का आरोप गांव के ही पांच युवकों पर लगा है, जिनमें एक का नाम सुनील उर्फ पंखा है।

पिता सुरेंद्र के मुताबिक, सोमवार देर शाम योगेंद्र अपने दो-तीन दोस्तों के साथ घर पर बैठे थे। तभी सुनील वहां आया और गाली-गलौज करने लगा। योगेंद्र ने उसे समझाया कि वे अपने घर में मस्ती कर रहे हैं और उसे घर लौटने को कहा। इस पर सुनील ने धमकी दी और चला गया।

कुछ देर बाद सुनील चार साथियों के साथ दोबारा घर पहुंचा, जिनमें एक अनिल बंदूक लेकर आया था, जबकि अन्य आरोपी संदीप उर्फ थोथा, डीलू, सुनील कुमार और एक अन्य युवक थे। पांचों ने मिलकर योगेंद्र पर हमला कर दिया।

सुरेंद्र ने बताया कि अनिल ने योगेंद्र को गोली मार दी, जिससे वे गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। जब योगेंद्र भागने लगे तो अन्य आरोपियों ने उन्हें भागने नहीं दिया। इसके बाद सभी हमलावर मौके से फरार हो गए। घायल योगेंद्र को रोहतक के एक निजी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया, जहां इलाज के दौरान आज सुबह उनकी मौत हो गई।

खरखौदा थाना पुलिस को घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही टीम ने गांव पहुंचकर फॉरेंसिक विशेषज्ञों के साथ जांच की और शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए रोहतक भेजा। पिता सुरेंद्र के बयान पर पांचों आरोपियों के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज कर लिया गया है। परिजनों का कहना है कि वे सभी हमलावरों को पहचानते हैं और उनकी जल्द गिरफ्तारी की मांग कर रहे हैं।

A 39-year-old man named Yogendra was shot dead inside his home in Rohna village, Sonipat, while he was sitting and joking with a few friends. The murder was allegedly committed by five local youths, including a man named Sunil alias Pankha.

According to Yogendra’s father Surender, who filed the complaint, the incident occurred on Monday evening. While Yogendra was chatting with friends at home, Sunil arrived and started abusing him. When Yogendra asked him to calm down and leave, Sunil threatened him and walked away.

A short while later, Sunil returned with four accomplices, including Anil who was armed with a gun. The others were identified as Sandeep alias Thotha, Dilu, Sunil Kumar, and an unidentified youth. They stormed into the house and attacked Yogendra.

Surender stated that Anil shot Yogendra, who attempted to flee but was caught and severely injured by the others. The attackers fled after the shooting. Yogendra was rushed to a private hospital in Rohtak, but he succumbed to his injuries early the next morning.

Kharakoda Police, upon being informed, reached the scene, called forensic experts, and began collecting evidence. The body was taken to Rohtak for postmortem. Based on Surender’s statement, police have registered an FIR against all five accused. The family claims they know the attackers well and are demanding immediate arrests.
