Youth Murdered in Sonipat: Came Seeking Work, Found Dead in a Restaurant Room

A shocking murder case has been reported behind the Carry Junction Family Restaurant on Kundli TDI City Road. A young man who arrived on Wednesday night in search of work was found dead in a room behind the restaurant the next morning. The two men who were staying in the same room are missing and are currently under police search. The FIR will be registered after the victim’s family arrives.

Victim Was Staying in Restaurant Room
Lakshya, a resident of TDI City, runs Carry Junction restaurant. Around 9 PM on Wednesday, a young man from Narela, Delhi, had come requesting a job. Since it was late, Lakshya asked him to come for a trial on Thursday and allowed him to rest for the night in a room behind the restaurant, where two others—Azad from Alipur (Delhi) and Vishal from Panipat—were already staying.

On Thursday morning, when the room was opened, the young man was found dead in a pool of blood. His throat had been slit with a sharp weapon, and his body bore multiple injury marks. Blood stains were also found on the floor. Meanwhile, Azad and Vishal had gone missing, and both are suspected to be involved.

DCP Prabeena P., SHO Sethi Malik, and an FSL team reached the spot immediately. Forensic experts examined the room and collected blood samples, fingerprints, and weapon-related evidence.

Body Identified as Balram from Etawah
Initially, the victim had no identification documents. After investigation, he was identified as Balram (27), a resident of Jaswant Nagar in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh. His family has been informed, and the body has been sent to the civil hospital for post-mortem.

According to the preliminary probe, the murder took place inside the room, and the two missing men are the prime suspects. A special team has been formed to trace them. The FIR will be registered once the family records their statement.
