46th Day of Dallewal's Hunger Strike, Medical Report Expected by Evening

The hunger strike of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal entered its 46th day at the Khanauri Farmers' Protest site. Doctors have indicated that, based on discussions with the administration, the medical test reports conducted yesterday are likely to be available by this evening. Once received, these reports will be shared with the public.

Farmers' leaders from both protest fronts, including Balbir Singh Rajewal, Joginder Singh Ugrahan, Darshan Pal, Krishna Prasad, Joginder Nain, Raminder Patiala, and others, visited to check on Jagjit Singh Dallewal's condition. Despite his critical health, a 15–20-minute meeting was arranged between the leaders and Dallewal.

The farmer leaders expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all the dignitaries who visited and hoped that through mutual discussions, they would strengthen the ongoing movement for the MSP Guarantee Law without any further delay.

They emphasized that all farmer organizations and the entire farming community of the country stand firmly in support of Jagjit Singh Dallewal's hunger strike and the MSP Guarantee Law. They urged the central government to dispel any misconceptions about dividing the farmers.

As per the call of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha, effigies of the Modi government were burnt across villages in the country today, demonstrating unified support for Dallewal's hunger strike and the MSP Guarantee Law.

They warned that if anything untoward happened to Jagjit Singh Dallewal, there would be a massive farmer uprising across the nation. Therefore, the central government should address their demands promptly. They also condemned the BJP government's undemocratic actions, citing incidents in Uttar Pradesh where farmer leaders were placed under house arrest in districts like Bulandshahr and Aligarh to prevent them from participating in effigy-burning programs.
