Bulldozer and Tractor-Trolley Seized for Illegal Mining in Jagdishpur, Administration Cracks Down

A joint operation by the mining department and police on Thursday night in the village Jagdishpur led to the seizure of a bulldozer and a tractor-trolley involved in illegal mining activities.

To curb such unlawful acts, the administration has started making public announcements in villages along the Yamuna River, warning people against engaging in illegal mining.

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Manoj Kumar stated that the district administration is taking strict measures to completely stop illegal mining. Mining department teams have been deployed on national highways, state roads, and key routes to monitor such activities. Strict legal action will be taken against anyone found to be involved.
