Contract Health Workers Threaten Statewide Protest Over Job Security Act Delay

Mahendragarh’s contract health employees associated with the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam (HKRN) have warned of launching a massive state-level protest after growing frustration over the non-implementation of the Job Security Act 2024.

During a meeting of the HKRN Block Unit held at the Civil Hospital, workers expressed strong anger towards the government, reiterating their demand for the immediate enforcement of the Job Security Act and SPO and security laws.

The employees issued a stern ultimatum, stating that if their demands are not met soon, they will launch large-scale protests across Haryana. They also warned the government that ignoring their voices could have electoral repercussions.

Declaring the end of negotiations, the workers said, “If justice is denied, we won’t hesitate to take to the streets.”
