बठिंडा एक्सप्रेस की चपेट में आने से किसान की दर्दनाक मौत

अंबाला-दिल्ली रेल मार्ग पर सोमवार दोपहर गांव छतेहरा रेलवे ओवरब्रिज के पास ट्रेन की चपेट में आने से एक किसान की मौत हो गई। मृतक की पहचान मल्हा माजरा गांव निवासी 63 वर्षीय रामकुंवार के रूप में हुई। पुलिस ने मंगलवार को पोस्टमार्टम के बाद शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया।

जांच अधिकारी सरिता देवी ने बताया कि सोमवार दोपहर करीब 1:30 बजे डाउन लाइन पर एक व्यक्ति का शव पड़ा होने की सूचना मिली थी। मृतक खेतीबाड़ी करते थे और किसी काम से घर से निकले थे। छतेहरा रेलवे अंडरपास के पास रेलवे लाइन पार करते समय वह बठिंडा एक्सप्रेस की चपेट में आ गए, जिससे उनकी मौके पर ही मौत हो गई।

A farmer lost his life after being hit by a train near the Chhatera railway overbridge on the Ambala-Delhi rail line on Monday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as 63-year-old Ramkunwar, a resident of Malha Majra village. The police conducted a post-mortem on Tuesday and handed over the body to the family.

Investigating officer Sarita Devi stated that around 1:30 PM on Monday, information was received about a body lying on the down line. The deceased, a farmer, had left home for some work when he was struck by the Bathinda Express while crossing the railway line near the Chhatera railway underpass, leading to his instant death.
