Major Breakthrough in Murder Case: ?50,000 Rewarded Criminal Arrested

Sonipat CIA-1 has achieved a significant breakthrough by arresting a wanted criminal carrying a reward of ?50,000. The accused, Kuldeep, had been on the run after allegedly shooting and killing a youth earlier this year. Police will produce him in court and seek remand for further interrogation.

The case dates back to February 9, 2024, when Vansh, a resident of Sonipat, was visiting a friend in Pragati Nagar on his scooter. During this time, an argument broke out between Kuldeep and Vansh over scooter parking. The altercation escalated, and Kuldeep pulled out his gun and opened fire at Vansh, killing him on the spot.

Earlier, police had already arrested Kuldeep’s wife and son in connection with the case. However, Kuldeep had been absconding since the incident, prompting authorities to announce a ?50,000 reward for his capture. CIA-1 officials apprehended him near the Loni border.

According to ACP Crime Rajpal, the accused has two previous cases registered against him. Police are conducting a thorough investigation and will interrogate Kuldeep to uncover more details about the case.
