Massive Fire in Sonipat Factory, Loss Worth Lakhs; Smoke Visible for Kilometers

A massive fire broke out at the SR Plaspodram factory on Ramnagar-Piplikheda Road in Sonipat, which manufactures plastic drums. As soon as the fire erupted, factory workers attempted to control it on their own. However, when the situation went out of control, the fire department was immediately informed.

Fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and started efforts to douse the flames, but within minutes, the fire engulfed the entire factory. Thick smoke from the fire spread across several kilometers, making the situation more alarming. Additional fire engines from Sonipat, Kundli, and nearby areas were called to the site to control the blaze.

According to factory owner Mohit Mittal, the fire has already caused losses worth lakhs, and authorities are still struggling to bring it under control.
