People with Disabilities Should Not Be Considered Different from Others; They Are an Integral Part of Society: MLA Devender Kadian

Ganaur constituency MLA Devender Kadian emphasized that people with disabilities should not be considered different from others; they are an important part of our society and deserve respect. He added that assistive devices serve as a vital support for people with disabilities and the elderly, making their lives easier. Helping and serving people with disabilities is a noble cause.

MLA Kadian was speaking at an assistive device distribution camp at his ancestral village, Bajana Kalan. A similar camp was also organized in Bega village. The program was chaired by ALIMCO Aasra Director Praveen Lamba. Under the RUY scheme, 141 elderly individuals were provided with 40 wheelchairs, 80 hearing aids, and other equipment by ALIMCO Aasra, which were distributed to the beneficiaries through MLA Kadian.

The recipients expressed joy upon receiving the assistive devices, stating that these tools would reduce challenges and simplify their daily lives, making mobility easier.

MLA Kadian praised ALIMCO Aasra’s initiative, which ensures that people with disabilities and the elderly receive equipment near their homes. He also advised the recipients on the proper use of the devices. Kadian reiterated his commitment to the overall development of the region and announced that helpline numbers would soon be launched for public benefit.

Through these helplines, residents will be able to report issues related to electricity, water, sanitation, and more. His team will coordinate with the concerned officials to resolve these issues, sparing the public from repeated visits to government offices.
