दो साल में ही टूटी सड़क, निर्माण गुणवत्ता पर उठे सवाल

गन्नौर में मॉडल संस्कृति स्कूल से गढ़ी केसरी बैडमिंटन हॉल तक बनाई गई सड़क महज दो साल में ही टूटने लगी है। कई जगहों से सड़क की परत उखड़ गई है और गड्ढे बन गए हैं, जिससे राहगीरों को भारी दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है।

जानकारी के अनुसार, नगर पालिका द्वारा खेल स्टेडियम से लेकर राजकीय मॉडल संस्कृति स्कूल तक सड़क के सुदृढ़ीकरण पर करीब 54.63 लाख रुपये खर्च किए गए थे। लेकिन अब स्थानीय लोग निर्माण की गुणवत्ता पर सवाल उठाने लगे हैं।

लोगों का कहना है कि इतनी बड़ी राशि खर्च करने के बावजूद सड़क दो साल में ही टूट गई, जिससे साफ होता है कि निर्माण में लापरवाही और घटिया सामग्री का इस्तेमाल किया गया है। एक स्थानीय निवासी ने बताया कि सड़क की खराब हालत के कारण बच्चों को स्कूल जाते समय काफी परेशानी होती है।

इस मामले में नगरपालिका सचिव प्रदीप खर्ब ने बताया कि सड़क का जल्द निरीक्षण कराया जाएगा और ठेकेदार को मरम्मत के निर्देश दिए जाएंगे। यदि निर्माण में लापरवाही पाई जाती है तो संबंधित अधिकारियों और ठेकेदार पर नियमानुसार कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

A road built from Model Sanskriti School to Garhi Kesari Badminton Hall in Ganaur has started breaking apart within just two years of its construction. The surface layer has peeled off at several places, creating potholes and causing inconvenience to commuters.

As per reports, the municipality spent approximately ?54.63 lakh on strengthening this stretch from the Sports Stadium to Model Sanskriti School. However, local residents are now questioning the quality of the construction work.

Residents allege that despite such a large investment, the road has deteriorated rapidly, indicating the use of substandard materials and negligence in construction. One local mentioned that school-going children are particularly troubled by the poor condition of the road.

Municipal Secretary Pradeep Kharb stated that the road will be inspected soon, and the contractor will be directed to carry out necessary repairs. If any lapses in construction quality are found, appropriate action will be taken against the responsible officials and the contractor.
