नगर निगम सोनीपत मेयर उप-चुनाव व खरखौदा नगर पालिका के होने वाले चुनाव के मद्देनजर सोमवार को उपायुक्त एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी डॉ० मनोज कुमार की उपस्थिति में लघु सचिवालय स्थित कांफ्रेंस हॉल में ईवीएम मशाीनों व मतदान के दिन बूथों पर ड्यटी पर तैनात पालिंग पार्टियों का दूसरा रेंडमाईजेशन कार्य संपन्न किया गया।
    जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने बताया कि 02 मार्च को नगर निगम सोनीपत मेयर उप-चुनाव व खरखौदा नगर पालिका के लिए मतदान होगा। उन्होंने बताया कि सोनीपत नगर निगम के लिए 268 व खरखौदा नगर पालिका चुनाव के लिए 23 बूथ बनाए गए हैं, जिनपर एक-एक पालिंग पार्टी उपस्थित रहेगी। रेडमाईजेशन के लिए दौरान 40 प्रतिशत अतिरिक्त पोलिंग पार्टी रिजर्व रखी गई है।
जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने उम्मीदवारों को शांतिपूर्ण व निष्पक्ष ढ़ग से चुनाव लड़ने को कहा। सभी उम्मीदवार चुनाव की मर्यादा व नियम कानून का पालन करने व अनावश्यक चीजे से परहेज करे व आम-जन को असुविधा न हो इसका ध्यान रखे।
    जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने बताया कि नगर निगम सोनीपत मेयर उप-चुनाव के लिए प्रत्येक बूथ पर एक ईवीएम तथा खरखौदा नगर पालिका अध्यक्ष तथा वार्ड पार्षदों के चुनाव के लिए प्रत्येक बूथ पर दो ईवीएम मशीन का सैट रखा जाएगा, जिसमें प्रत्येक सैट में एक ईवीएम मशीन, एक बैलेट यूनिट तथा एक कंट्रोल यूनिट होगी, जिसमें मतदाता एक ईवीएम पर खरखौदा नगर पालिका अध्यक्ष तथा एक ईवीएम पर पार्षद के लिए मतदान करेंगे।
इस मौके पर एसडीएम खरखौदा डाॅ0 निर्मल नागर, नगराधीश डा0 अनमोल, जिला परिषद सीईओ अभय सिंह डीआईओ विशाल सैनी व एडीआईओ विजय सहित चुनावी उम्मीदवार मौजूद रहे।

The randomization exercise was conducted in the presence of Additional Commissioner Dr. Manoj Kumar.

The Additional Commissioner urged candidates to contest the elections peacefully.

In view of the upcoming Sonipat Municipal Corporation Mayoral By-election and Kharkhauda Municipal Election, on Monday, the second randomization exercise for the EVM machines and the polling parties deployed on duty at the polling booths was completed at the conference hall in the Junior Secretariat, in the presence of Additional Commissioner and District Election Officer Dr. Manoj Kumar.

The District Election Officer stated that voting for the Sonipat Municipal Corporation Mayoral By-election and the Kharkhauda Municipal Election will be held on March 2. He further mentioned that for the Sonipat Municipal Corporation election, 268 polling booths have been set up and for the Kharkhauda Municipal Election, 23 booths have been arranged, with one polling party assigned to each booth. Additionally, 40 percent extra polling party reserve has been maintained for the randomization process.

The District Election Officer urged the candidates to contest the elections in a peaceful and fair manner, emphasizing that all candidates must adhere to the election decorum and rules, avoid unnecessary actions, and ensure that the public does not face any inconvenience.

He also explained that for the Sonipat Municipal Corporation Mayoral By-election, each polling booth will be equipped with one EVM, and for the Kharkhauda Municipal Election for the Municipal President and Ward Councillors, each booth will have a set of two EVM machines. Each set will comprise one EVM machine, one ballot unit, and one control unit, with voters casting their votes for the Municipal President on one EVM and for the Councillors on the other.

At the event, several election candidates and dignitaries were present, including SDM Kharkhauda Dr. Nirmal Nagar, District Magistrate Dr. Anmol, District Council CEO Abhay Singh, DIO Vishal Saini, and A/DIO Vijay, among many other prominent figures.
