Sonipat Petrol Pump Robbery: Fourth Accused Suraj Arrested, Sent to 3-Day Remand

In the sensational robbery and shooting incident at a petrol pump in Kundli, the Crime Unit Sector-3 team has arrested the fourth accused, identified as Suraj from Muzaffarpur, Bihar. He has been sent on three-day police remand for interrogation.

The case was registered on October 28, 2024, based on a complaint by Kuldeep, a salesman from Badaun, Uttar Pradesh, who was on duty that night along with Sanjay and Kishore. Around 9 PM, while they were settling the cash, someone knocked on the office door. As soon as they opened it, four assailants barged in, assaulted them, fired three gunshots, and looted the cash.

During the attack, they attempted to snatch cash from Pradeep and shot him in the chest. Another bullet hit Sanjeev’s leg, and a third struck a truck driver who was refueling. Earlier, police had already arrested Avnendra, Jayprakash, and Vicky. Now, with the arrest of Suraj, further investigation is underway.
