सोनीपत में अवैध हथियारों के साथ तीन पढ़े-लिखे युवक गिरफ्तार

सेक्टर-7 स्थित स्पेशल एंटी गैंगस्टर यूनिट ने अवैध हथियारों के साथ तीन युवकों को गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोपी मध्य प्रदेश से करीब डेढ़ लाख रुपये में हथियार खरीदकर लाए थे और उन्हें किसी बड़े गैंग तक पहुंचाने की योजना बना रहे थे।

गिरफ्तार युवकों की पहचान इस प्रकार हुई है:

वरदान, गांव नांगल खेड़ी, जिला पानीपत

हिमांशु, बिशनसरूप कॉलोनी, पानीपत

परविंद्र, गांव गगसीना, जिला करनाल

पुलिस को सोमवार रात सूचना मिली कि तीन युवक अवैध हथियारों के साथ कार में जा रहे हैं। गांव रोहट से बड़वासनी की ओर नहर के पास बने सर्विस रोड पर उन्हें रोका गया। परविंद्र कार चला रहा था, वरदान बगल की सीट पर था और हिमांशु पीछे बैठा था।

तलाशी के दौरान तीनों के पास से एक-एक देसी पिस्तौल बरामद हुई। पुलिस को संदेह है कि ये युवक किसी अपराधी गिरोह के लिए काम कर रहे थे। सभी को अदालत में पेश किया गया, जहां मुख्य आरोपी परविंद्र को छह दिन के पुलिस रिमांड पर भेजा गया जबकि वरदान और हिमांशु को न्यायिक हिरासत में जेल भेजा गया।

The Special Anti-Gangster Unit of Sector-7, Sonipat, has arrested three young men in possession of illegal firearms. The accused had reportedly purchased these weapons from Madhya Pradesh for ?1.5 lakh and were planning to deliver them to a major criminal gang.

The arrested individuals have been identified as:

Vardan from Nangal Kheri village, Panipat

Himanshu from Bishansarup Colony, Panipat

Parvinder from Gagsina village, Karnal

According to the police, they received a tip-off on Monday night about three individuals transporting illegal arms. Acting swiftly, the police intercepted a car near the canal service road between Rohat and Barwasni. Parvinder was driving the car, with Vardan in the front seat and Himanshu seated at the back.

During the search, each was found carrying a country-made pistol. Police suspect their connection to a larger criminal gang. All three were presented before the court. The main accused, Parvinder, has been remanded to six days of police custody, while Vardan and Himanshu were sent to judicial custody.

Investigations revealed they bought the weapons in Madhya Pradesh for about ?1.5 lakh. Before they could deliver them to the intended gang, police apprehended them.
